It usually takes 3–5 working days to have a tradename registered after application submission.
2. Are there any requirements for registering tradename in Cyprus?
Yes, the tradename should be unique and do not resemble the names of existing tradenames too closely or contain restricted terms, such as “international”, “global”, “bank”, “insurance”, “university”, without special permissions.
3. How long is the registered tradename valid for?
Registration is valid indefinitely, as long as the name is in use and the business remains active and compliant.
4. How much are the fees of the Companies Registrar for the registration of a tradename?
The Companies Registrar registration fee for a tradename is usually between €80-€120.
